نبذة عن الطبيب:
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Moneim is a Consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a wide experience in adult joint reconstruction of the knee and hip joints spanning from primary joint replacement surgery, complex primary replacement with major deformities, revision knee and hip joint replacement, to joint preservation surgery for adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Mohamed is a full university professor in Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, with 20 years of experience in orthopaedic surgical practice. Dr. Mohamed is an international fellow of well-recognized orthopaedic foundations and universities across the world including;

• Fellowship of the European Federation of National Orthopaedic Associations (EFORT) in Adult Joint Reconstructive Surgery, from University of Lille, France (Roger Salengro Hospital, Lille, France).
• Fellowship of the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery, and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), from University of Leuven, Belgium (Pellenberg Kliniek, Leuven, Belgium).
• International Surgical Skills Scholarship in Joint Preservation Surgery, from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), San Francisco General Hospital, University of California (UCSF), USA.
• AO International Fellowship in Advanced Operative Fracture Fixation, from University of Ulm, Germany (Universitatsklinikum Ulm, Germany).

• Honorary Clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery, from Hong Kong University (The Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital, Hong Kong).

Dr. Mohamed highly values moral backgrounds of surgical practice and believes that surgical decision making in Orthopaedic Surgery should be carefully tailored for each particular case requirements based on full clinical examination, proper imaging studies, and honest informative discussion of treatment options with the patient, with an overall aim to provide patients with the level of activity and joy they ever wanted.
